I just read the blog and saw that there was very little of me in it. So I thought I'd do us all a favor and put a little bit of that Moyni Magic back in there!
For those of you who were wondering, I'm still alive. I've been stowed away under a cardboard flap in the back of the Busman's Holiday tour van for a week. I've been living off bits of beef jerky and string cheese that Peri has been feeding me when the Rogers brothers aren't looking. It's difficult for her to escape the terror of their steely gaze. O, the Horribleness!
Yesterday I totally froze my nubs off playing for a couple of quid on the mean streets of Buffalo. I tried to keep my spirits up by repeatedly playing heart-warming renditions of "On the Sunny Side of the Street" while constantly shifting my position so that I could stay in the sunlight. A vagrant walked by and peed in my saxophone case. There was nothing I could do but call after him as he walked slowly away, "I'll see you in Hell, Pee-Brain!"
After that I got some coffee. It was very overpriced but I got us at gig at the joint. We're playing at 4:00. BE THERE! They even let me play some solo sax in their establishment. It was a great adventure.
I've been eating a lot of vegan food. Turns out a lot of punks are vegan.
